190+ player updates: monsters that evolve, ranked climbs and live events
190+ changes you'll notice in the game. 760+ changes in total, counting the work behind the scenes. All in the two weeks since Update 2.
Update III starts with the monsters. Your monsters now evolve as you get stronger, through ten forms you choose when to unlock. The public leaderboards count every Quest you finish, and Infitnite now supports limited-time events. Around those you'll find Apple Watch rewards, Alchemy XP for every meal, video posts in the Warrior's Circle, eight refreshed Vanguard locations and a long list of fixes you asked for.
Since Update 2 on October 6, a lot of you have joined for the first time. Update 2 felt like the real launch. It felt like we'd finally, fully launched the game. Update III is the first update built on that foundation.
If you're new here, Infitnite is a fitness fantasy RPG where your real workouts, nutrition, learning and community activity help your Avatar, your fantasy representation in Infitnite, grow.

Monsters that evolve with you
Until now, a monster was something you fought once and recorded in the Bestiary (your collection of every monster you've met). Update III lets your monsters grow with you.
Your monsters now evolve as you get stronger. After your first full workout against a monster that evolves, it takes a form sized to your own strength. There are ten forms, from Lesser through Minor, Feral, Greater, Mighty, Savage, Brutal, Colossal and Ancient, up to Legendary. You'll see the form as a Roman numeral with its name, like IV · Greater Ironmaw.
Empower and Evolve
Each form has a five-step Empower track, drawn as a shell that cracks a little more with every step. When you beat a monster with room to spare, the fight card offers to Empower it. When the next step reaches a new form, it offers to Evolve. Beat the stronger monster and that form becomes yours. Lose, and nothing changes. Evolving plays a short ceremony: the monster's egg cracks open and reveals the new form's crest, and that crest then shows on its fight cards, your Quest results and the Bestiary.
You're always the one who decides. A monster stays at its current form for as long as you want, so a plateau never forces a harder fight.
Evolve mid-fight
If one of your sets beats the monster before your last set, it can evolve on the spot to match the set you just did, even skipping several forms at once. Beat the new form and it's yours. If the evolved form wins, you still keep the kill you earned. A Surge or bonus wave works the same way: if the extra monster wins, you keep the kill you already earned.
Choose the fight you want today
You can face any form of a monster up to your best one. Coming back from a break, after two tough fights in a row, or in a deload week, the game suggests an easier form. You can also hold a form for two or four weeks while you build up.
The Bestiary tells your story
The Bestiary now shows every form of each monster you're evolving. For the forms you've reached, it shows how many you've felled, how long you held them and your best set. For the forms still ahead, it shows what it takes to reach them.
Rewards and achievements
Every form you reach pays a one-time reward, whether you climbed to it step by step or leapt past it: from 40 Warrior XP and 10 Awakening XP at Minor up to 550 Warrior XP and 130 Awakening XP at Legendary. After each Quest, your results show how each monster grew and what it paid. New achievements track the monsters you've defeated and the forms you've evolved, including the Monster Legion and Legend Forged titles. If you like, you can also let related training mark estimated progress on a monster. That's off unless you turn it on.
Climb the public leaderboards
Every Quest you complete now counts toward your Quest Score (your competitive rating from Quests), so you can rise out of Iron and up the boards. Reach a new division and you earn its milestone reward, once per Avatar, with a full promotion ceremony.
Quest Score decay for inactive Avatars no longer compounds. Ally leaderboards load, show the stat you picked and include you. Champion's Court has a new landing page with one badge for each track, and it keeps your tab and the right week when you come back.
Events arrive, starting with Double Discipline XP
Infitnite now supports limited-time events. During a Double Discipline XP event, what you actively do pays twice the Discipline XP (the XP for Combat, Alchemy, Intellect and Influence). An event icon shows the bonus, your gains are tagged 2x, and a counter and recap card show what the event added.
The first Double Discipline XP event ran from October 18 to October 19. To launch Update III, Double Evolution Rewards runs from October 21 at 5 pm Pacific to October 28 at 5 pm Pacific. Every new form you reach on a monster pays double its one-time reward. This event doubles Evolution rewards only, not Discipline XP.
Your Apple Watch workouts earn Combat rewards
Workouts synced from Apple Health, including Apple Watch sessions, now show up in the Combat hub and pay Combat rewards once each. Minutes a live Quest already paid aren't paid twice, and your first win of the day counts every workout source.
Deletions work both ways. If you delete a workout in Apple Health, it's removed in the app too and the Combat XP it earned is taken back. Warrior XP, Role XP and mission credit you already earned stay yours.
Every meal you log earns Alchemy XP
Each meal you log in Alchemy now pays 4 to 10 Alchemy XP, up to 40 a day, and it counts toward your Warrior XP. Barcode scanning runs at full speed on iPhone, and reminders that went quiet after a device change are back.
Your missions count what you actually did
Complete Quest now counts Quests you finish partially, and Log Sleep counts last night's sleep when it syncs the next morning. Log Meals and Hit Protein missions credit reliably, and if something goes wrong right after a workout or a health log saves, your mission progress is retried automatically instead of lost.
When you have enough Mercy (your monthly allowance for missed days) to cover the days you missed, the Pact card now offers Keep streak, so your streak stays unbroken.
Post videos in the Warrior's Circle
You can now attach a short video to a thread in the Warrior's Circle, our in-game forum. Record or pick a clip, trim it to 60 seconds, mute it if you like, and keep writing while it uploads. Every video is checked before other Warriors see it.
Conversations are easier to follow too. Every reply has its own Reply button, your answer nests under the reply you picked, and a reply notification opens the thread right at that reply.
A fresh look for every Vanguard location
All eight Vanguard locations have refreshed layouts, icons and artwork, with larger text. Each one now has a short video showing what you can do there, with written steps if the video can't play. You'll find them during onboarding, in the Market, on locked locations and in Your Membership.
Your Membership shows what your plan includes, with one-tap shortcuts to all eight locations and your monthly Invocations. Monthly and quarterly members can switch billing period from there. And if the app closes while a Brew is finishing, trying again returns the same recipe instead of spending another Invocation.
Monster fights look and feel better
Monster fights now take place in realm environments: ten realms plus a neutral stage, with the monster's element setting the atmosphere. Strength monsters take their HP from the weight you can actually lift for your reps, so load monsters can be cleared at your standard.
Your progress is safer
Waystone progress you make offline stays on your phone and goes through when you're back online.
Silent Shrine sessions now pay their Intellect XP.
Your Quest progress survives interruptions and reloads, and swapping an exercise mid-Quest no longer costs you the workout.
Goal and personal-record rewards go to the Avatar that earned them, even if you switch Avatars before they settle.
Smaller fixes that matter when you come back tomorrow
Your first Kudos to a player now goes through.
Turned-down workouts no longer sit waiting to sync forever.
Change Avatar opens the Avatar chooser instead of sending you home.
The title screen shows the Infitnite logo again for returning players.
Five roles that ran short of oaths now have enough to claim on the Mission Board.
Every player-facing change is listed below, ranked by how much it matters to you.
What changed in balance
A few numbers went down in this update. Here's each one, and what you keep:
Invocation Shards are now a Vanguard feature. Pathfinders no longer earn them, and Shards you already hold stay in your inventory.
Infitnite is for players 18 and older. If your account has a recorded age under 18, you can still download your data or delete the account.
Blessing rewards pause after 14 days away and resume when you return. Everything already granted stays.
Hearts go only to allies, and expired reward mail can't be claimed after you unarchive it.
What's coming next
Update III sets the foundation: monsters you grow, leaderboards you climb and events you can plan around. Update IV is about community and competition, with World Bosses and tournaments.
What your feedback made possible
The response to Update 2 has been incredible. A lot of you joined at Update 2 and started fresh, without knowing what it took to get the game to that point. You went straight to the newest parts of the game and told me what to add and focus on next, in combat and beyond. That shaped Update III's direction and helped us move faster. Update III wouldn't be this significant without you.
It was a different kind of update to build, too. At launch, much of the work was fixing bugs and errors. Since Update 2, it's been about new features and growing what Infitnite can do and where it's headed. I'm grateful to everyone who started with us and is still here, part of every step of that growth. And I'm grateful to everyone just arriving, for the infectious excitement and curiosity you bring.
Thank you for showing up, training and telling me what works and what doesn't. Once you've spent time with Update III, tell me in the Warrior's Circle which monster you evolved first and how far you took it.

Leaderboards & Social9 changes
- Your Quests count on the public leaderboards again. Completed Quests now show up where everyone can see them. Before, a timing check hid every entry by mistake.
- Rank promotions now pay out with a full ceremony. Reaching a new division or bracket pays its milestone reward once per Avatar and plays the full promotion ceremony. Quest Score decay for inactive Avatars no longer compounds, and only the server can change your Quest Score.
- Your Quest Score now builds as you play. Your Quest Score now grows as you play, so you can climb out of Iron, and updating your avatar no longer resets it. Ally leaderboards now load, show the stat you picked and include you, and the notification header no longer counts unread mail twice.
- Your first Kudos to a player now goes through. Sending Kudos to someone for the first time works. Before, it failed.
- Champion's Court keeps your tab and the right week. Champion's Court reopens on the tab you were viewing after a reload or from a shared link, the Last Week board shows last week instead of the week before, and Load more no longer repeats the first page. If your mailbox can't load, it now says so and offers Retry instead of showing "No messages".
- Champion's Court gets a new landing page. The new landing page shows one badge for each track.
- World Pulse announcements show up once. Each announcement now appears a single time. Before, they could appear twice.
- The Conversation card follows your choice on every device. The Conversation card in Influence now uses the source you last chose, even if you chose it on another device. Before, it ignored a choice made elsewhere.
- ReducedHearts are now for allies only. Hearts go only to allies and arrive as mail. When you whisper, blocks and message settings are respected, and reward mail that has expired can no longer be claimed after you unarchive it.
Workouts & Combat35 changes
- Your Apple Health and Apple Watch workouts now earn Combat rewards. Workouts synced from Apple Health, including Apple Watch sessions, show up in the Combat hub and earn Combat rewards once each. Minutes a live Quest already paid are never paid twice, and your first win of the day counts every workout source.
- Turned-down workouts stop waiting to sync forever. A workout the server turns down now gets a final answer instead of sitting in waiting to sync forever. Saved workouts keep their real reason instead of "Offline workout".
- Bonus Wave and Surge keep your supersets intact. Bonus Wave and Surge no longer collapse a superset or write the Squat fallback, and the server now accepts them when they sync. Before, they broke supersets and were turned down on sync. Boss encounters are priced at the server's Standard tier.
- Monster fights now take place in realm environments. Every fight is set in one of ten realm environments or a neutral stage, with the monster's element setting the atmosphere. Training Grounds art also loads much faster.
- Finishing logged work gets its own completion screen. Finished logged work now ends on a neutral completion screen instead of the victory trophy, and killing a monster keeps its celebration.
- Your Quest progress survives interruptions and reloads. Quest recovery keeps your newer work across interruptions, and after-action reports and cooldown choices survive a reload. Celebrations wait until after your results, and compact combat screens keep instructions and controls within reach.
- Swapping an exercise mid-Quest no longer voids your workout. The whole workout now counts and earns its rewards when it syncs. The reward difficulty rank is capped at the lower of the original and swapped plans, and a Living Quest keeps its original board tier.
Developer's note: This came from a player's Oct 9 workout that was lost after swapping Cable Preacher Curl for Preacher Curl.
- Logged Quest work is no longer lost during recovery. An unfinished Quest now keeps any copy (on-device draft, checkpoint or cloud) that holds waves or measurements the others lack. A copy is cleared only after a saved record on the server covers every logged measurement.
- Switching accounts can't wipe another Quest's work. A recovery check is now tied to the account and Quest that started it, so switching accounts or starting a new Quest mid-check can't delete or reuse another Quest's work. Before, late cleanups could remove newer work.
- Quest launch and recovery no longer hang. Both now time out with Retry or Cancel, and replacing an empty cloud copy gives up after five seconds. Before, they could wait indefinitely.
- Retried Quest saves keep their cooldown. If an interrupted Quest save is retried, the server's quota cooldown is now kept, so the retried save still reports it. Before, the cooldown was lost.
- Combat screens fit small phones. On portrait screens under 600 px wide, the Quest uses a single column, so the monster name no longer breaks into fragments or overlaps Resolve and Next Intent. On very short screens the workspace scrolls so the logger stays reachable.
- Your rest and progression timers stay on track. XP amounts that round down to zero no longer reset them.
- Strength monsters now match what you can lift. Strength monsters take their HP from the weight you can actually lift for your reps, so load monsters can be cleared at your standard. The Bestiary preview shows the same HP. An up-to-date app has it now, and every player has it from October 21.
- Rewards now reach the Avatar that earned them. Goal and personal-record rewards go to the Avatar that earned them, even if you switch Avatars before they're delivered. A failed delivery is retried instead of lost.
- Held workouts get credited once you add biometrics. Workouts held back for missing biometrics are now credited once you save your biometrics. Before, they stayed uncredited.
- Live Quests without a strength standard still earn XP. A live Quest that no strength standard can measure now earns a fair minimum of XP for the time you actually trained. It doesn't change Quest Score or leaderboard placement.
- Log the distance you cover on timed cardio. Timed cardio encounters such as treadmill work can now be programmed per wave with a duration and a distance. Before saving, the cardio stopwatch takes the distance you actually covered (optional, in mi or km, and checked against the recorded time), and a retried save reuses the timed result you logged.
- Your meals no longer wait behind a stuck report. Meals you log after an after-workout report the server couldn't accept now sync right away. Before, that saved report held them up.
- Suggested Quests now keep up with your training. The Combat hub's suggested Quest refreshes when your rank, training focus or the day changes. Bench and deadlift days bring their own monsters instead of squat ones.
- Shared devices keep both accounts' workouts. On a device shared by two accounts, the second account's workout is now kept until it can be saved instead of failing to save.
- Monster fight atmosphere fits each realm. Element atmosphere in monster fights is balanced to each realm environment's brightness, and Crystal monsters feel at home in Axiom.
- Your personal records are shared only when you choose. Personal-record announcements follow the Share choice on your after-action report. A report filed offline waits for its workout to be processed instead of failing.
- Saved workouts without rewards stop asking for retries. When the server keeps a workout but can't grant its rewards, the app now marks it saved and lists it in History instead of asking you to retry it again and again. The banner for workouts waiting to sync no longer promises a per-item retry.
- Ungraded sessions show as Logged, not failed. Sessions that can't be graded now show as Logged in your results and History instead of looking failed. Grade history is kept for 120 days, included in your data export and removed with your account.
- Living Quest rewards come back after a reload. A finished Living Quest's verified rewards are now recovered after a reload. Onboarding also no longer grants First Sync rewards twice.
- Offline workouts now show the right reward message. Workouts started without a connection now say rewards are confirmed after they sync and pass verification, instead of wrongly saying they can't earn rewards. The offline history list marks each workout as decided after sync, needing attention, or kept without rewards.
- Crunches join the exercise catalog. Crunch, Machine Crunch and Cable Crunch are now in the catalog at ranks 0, 1 and 2 of the Anti-Extension Core Strength ladder. Each has its own Bestiary monster (Stone Idol, Bound Effigy, Crushing Statue) and how-to steps, and Machine and Cable Crunch show the weight input. Searching "ab crunch machine" or "ab coaster" finds Machine Crunch.
Developer's note: Crunches were added after a forum request. The catalog had no crunch of any kind.
- The Spellsword now gives your after-fight tips. The tip card after a fight is now titled and voiced as the Spellsword. Before, it was credited to a persona that isn't currently active.
- Living Quest runs count on the tier you started. A Living Quest run now counts toward the board tier of the Quest you started. A Tactical Adapt no longer moves it to a different tier; before, an adapt could land a run on an easier tier.
- Heavy strikes stop charging when your touch breaks. A held Heavy strike charge now cancels when the touch is interrupted, the app loses focus or the page is hidden, and the hold stays attached to the button while its contents change. Before, the charge kept going after an interrupted touch.
- "Barbell shoulder press" now finds the overhead press. Searching "barbell shoulder press" returns Barbell Overhead Press first, and "shoulder press" lists it beside Machine Shoulder Press. Logged names also resolve to the same exercise.
- Log your cable weight on Side Plank Cable Rows. Side Plank Cable Row and Side-Plank Single-Arm Cable Row now show the weight input, so you can log the cable weight for each side. Other cable and machine exercises are unchanged (Assisted Pull-Up (Machine) still logs assistance).
- A held Quest launch now starts once. When a held Quest launch is cleared to go, it's claimed a single time. Before, it could start twice.
- ReducedApple Health deletions now take back rewards. When you delete a workout in Apple Health, it's removed in the app too and the reward it earned is reversed.
Progression, Lore & Game Actions8 changes
- Events arrive, starting with Double Discipline XP. Infitnite now supports limited-time events. During a Double Discipline XP event, the things you actively do pay twice the Discipline XP; an event icon shows the bonus, your gains are tagged 2x, and a counter and recap card show what the event added.
- Awakening Blessing now pays its idle bonus. At Star 12+, the hourly Discipline XP trickle now gets its +50% idle bonus when you haven't collected idle rewards for two hours or more; the bonus was in the design but never applied. The per-tick grant is now 4/6/7/9 Discipline XP by discipline level (was 3/4/5/6). If you collect idle rewards more often than every two hours you keep the base amount, and the missed bonus isn't repaid.
- Your actions show their real results again. Turning auto-use shields on or off now saves. Streak shield settings, reply likes, blocking and unblocking, forum follow settings, the already-reported notice, the Skill Point message after casting a skill, the Bounty Board, Ascension and Claim All show their real result again; before, those results weren't reaching the app.
- Your reward Skill Points now release. Skill Points you earn as rewards now release the next time you use a skill. Before, they stayed banked.
- Level-up celebrations play once per level. A level-up celebration no longer replays for a level you'd already reached when your progress refreshes from the server.
- The Completionist title now reaches those who earned it. Players who earned the Completionist title now receive it, and title wording is corrected. The occasional app rating ask is now capped.
- ReducedChronicle entries now unlock only when you qualify. Opening a Chronicle entry clears its NEW badge, and it stays cleared on later visits. Opening an entry no longer keeps it unlocked: entries are available only when you meet their requirements.
- ReducedBlessing rewards pause after 14 days away. Blessing rewards (the hourly Discipline XP trickle and the weekly AXP) now pause after 14 days without logging in, as they were always meant to, and resume when you return. If you've logged in within the last 14 days you're unaffected, and everything already granted stays.
Quests & Missions15 changes
- Waystone keeps the progress you make offline. Progress you make while offline stays on your device and goes through when you reconnect, and if a save can't go through, you get a reload option instead of claims failing until you restart. Retrying a Waystone upgrade applies to the step you started, the daily protein credit is retried once Waystone is ready, and a supplement you logged no longer shows as unsaved. Timed encounters also show their time or distance the same way in the intro, setup and Quest details.
- Partial Quests and morning sleep syncs now count. Complete Quest now counts Quests you finish partially, and Log Sleep counts last night's sleep when it syncs the next morning. Both count toward the Mission Board (mission credit only; the XP window is unchanged). Before, both were ignored.
- Log Meals and Hit Protein missions credit reliably. Log Meals is now credited for each counted meal, Hit Protein is tied to the day, and the Mission Board stops offering missions you can't complete. Before, both missions credited unreliably.
- Your Waystone protein credit no longer gets lost. Protein credit is no longer dropped when the app starts before your data has loaded. Missed days are now credited within a 14-day window.
- Spend Mercy to keep your streak alive. When you have enough Mercy to cover the days you missed, the Pact card offers Keep streak · N Mercy. It bridges those days (all or nothing, once per day) so your streak stays continuous.
- Chat missions advance again. Your chat messages now count toward chat missions. Synergy missions complete only when every part is verified, and missions that can't be verified are no longer handed out (no role's oath board is emptied).
- Workout mission progress no longer slips away. Mission progress from a finished workout now reaches the Mission Board even if something fails right after the workout saves. It's retried automatically, and never for an Avatar you've switched away from.
- Sleep and health logs count toward missions reliably. Your sleep and health-metric logs now reliably count toward their missions. If delivery fails, it's retried instead of dropped, and every vital you record counts toward Log Metric.
- Five roles now have enough oaths to claim. Enchanter, Assassin, Stoic, Guardian and Strategist were running short of oaths they could claim and now have enough. Enchanter and Stoic oaths credit correctly, and the Enchanter's Compass chat is wider.
- The Mission Board stays put while it refreshes. A background reload never blanks a board that's already loaded, and if a refresh fails, you keep the board you were looking at and see a message. Before, the board could go blank while refreshing.
- Awakening timers pause while you're away. The Intellect breath-hold freezes when you leave the app and waits for you to press Resume, so time away never counts. The Alchemy draught and Combat set timers also freeze while the app is hidden.
- Waystone reconnects on its own after an offline start. If you reopen the app while offline, Waystone reconnects by itself instead of asking you to reload, and the reload option appears only for a real conflict. Retries run when you come online, when you return to the app and on a 5 to 60 s backoff. The Quest-recovery banner no longer covers the Waystone Reconnect button or the controls at the bottom of the screen.
- Your Pact streak shows the right number. Once your last activity is older than yesterday (UTC), a lapsed streak now shows 0 instead of an old number. The stored value is untouched.
- Owed mission credit arrives by Courier. If you were owed Mission Board credit because of the Complete Quest and Log Sleep mission bugs fixed in this update, you were sent a Courier letter. Missions on a closed Board carry their AXP and Discipline XP in the letter, and missions still on the live Board are claimed in the app. Warrior XP and Role XP can't be sent by mail and weren't promised.
- ReducedThe Pact card now shows the Mercy you actually get. It now shows the monthly Mercy you actually receive: 2 for Pathfinder and 4 for every paid tier, where it used to show Vanguard 3, Paragon 5 and Sovereign 8. The server has always refilled 2 and 4, so what you receive is unchanged.
Intellect Hub6 changes
- Silent Shrine sessions now award Intellect XP. Silent Shrine sessions now award their Intellect XP; before, it was never saved. Lore entries can be claimed only once they're unlocked, and Back navigation, the Chronicle reader, Fountain retries and the Enchanter's Compass are fixed.
- Your Silent Shrine hold survives an app close. If the app closes during a Silent Shrine sitting, your hold is kept and counted on your next visit.
- Your first offline Fountain cast is now saved. Your first Fountain cast while offline is saved and sent when you reconnect.
- Your Constellarium layout follows you across devices. A Constellarium layout you saved on another device now shows up on your first visit, unless you're editing in Architect mode.
- ReducedReflections stop paying XP after the daily limit. Reflections no longer grant Discipline XP and role XP after the daily reward limit. Prowess weighting also changed; the net effect for players isn't recorded in the commits.
- ReducedDay-end Intellect rewards no longer count Codex discoveries. Codex discoveries no longer add to your day-end Intellect rewards. Prowess still weights the sleep and habit signals.
Warrior Circle15 changes
- Locked and deleted threads stay closed. Replies on deleted or hidden threads are now refused, and authors can no longer lift a moderator lock or reopen a deleted thread. Before, all three went through.
- Body Ledger shows your unsynced manual entries. Manual entries that haven't synced yet no longer hide behind same-day entries already saved to your account. Body Ledger now saves with a single message, locks points you've already committed in the allocation window, and starts target wizards from your current weight.
- Video posts come to the Warrior Circle. You can attach a short video to a Warrior Circle thread: pick or record a clip, trim it to up to 60 seconds, mute it if you like, and keep writing while it gets ready and uploads. Every video is checked before other Warriors can see it.
- Reply right after you start a thread. Replying to a thread you just created now works. The app gets the new thread's details as soon as it saves, so the reply goes through instead of failing.
- Astral Mirror takes HEIC photos and no longer refuses big picks. HEIC photos now upload, and if you pick more than 10 photos, the first 10 upload instead of everything being refused.
- Record Keep loads all your Quests. Record Keep no longer stops at 30 Quests; it now loads Quests beyond the first 30.
- Forum unread counts are right again. Unread counts are no longer doubled. Tour cards that run long now scroll so Skip stays reachable, and Body Ledger labels and the forum Like button are easier to read.
- Replies nest where you meant them on iPhone. On iPhone-sized screens, Reply on a reply now nests under the reply you chose instead of posting a new thread-level reply. Your reply appears right away, even when live updates are down.
- YouTube links play right in the thread. Paste a YouTube link in a post or reply and it shows a tap-to-play video, including Shorts and links with a start time. Posts that already have a link get the player too; hidden, deleted, blocked and collapsed replies never embed.
Developer's note: Reply threads and video links were added together so form-check videos can be watched in the thread.
- Reply notifications take you straight to the reply. Tapping a reply, direct-reply or mention notification opens the thread at that reply and highlights it for a moment. It works even for an older reply that hadn't loaded yet.
- Reply to any reply in the Warrior Circle. Every reply now has a Reply button, and your answer nests under the reply you picked. The person you answered gets a direct-reply notification, deep chains stay readable with a "replying to" name, and a deleted reply keeps its spot so the replies under it still make sense.
- See which message a reply answers. A reply to an older message now shows "Replying to @Name" even when that message is further up the thread; tap it to jump to the original. Replies written before this update keep the old display.
- More forum alerts open right at the reply. Helpful-reply recognition, official status updates with a staff reply, moderation notices about a reply, report outcomes for a reply and reply mail now open the thread at that reply instead of the top. Older app versions still open the top of the thread.
- Moderator-hidden replies stay hidden. Replies a moderator hid now stay behind a moderator placeholder instead of showing to everyone. Edited replies show their "edited" label again.
- Report copyright misuse in the forum. You can now report a forum post or reply as "Copyright or intellectual property" from the report sheet.
Bestiary1 change
- Monster artwork is back. Monster art shows again in Training Grounds and Quests. Bestiary cards show their environment backgrounds (chosen from the monster's identity, school, element and family), and undiscovered monsters still appear as silhouettes.
Meals, Hearth & Alchemy13 changes
- Every meal you log earns Alchemy XP. Each meal log pays 4 to 10 Alchemy XP, up to 40 a day. It also counts toward Warrior XP and is eligible for Double Discipline XP.
- The barcode scanner opens on top and reads farther. The scanner now opens above the Log Meal sheet instead of under it, reads codes from farther away and has a light button.
- Voice Dictation tells you what it heard. It now shows what it heard, or why it heard nothing. Before, it showed nothing when it couldn't hear you.
- Repeat Recent logs each meal once. Repeat Recent no longer logs a meal twice. Logging a recipe again now adds a new meal instead of replacing the last one.
- Re-logging a meal keeps your Role XP taper. Deleting a meal and logging it again no longer resets the Role XP taper.
- Hearth keeps your whole day of meals. Hearth's daily totals no longer drop your earlier meals in the evening, and favorite meals come back from the cloud again. Back no longer bounces between screens or closes the meal sheet.
- Rite of Iron speaks up only when you advance. The Rite of Iron message now appears only when a step actually advances, instead of on every event.
- Hearth messages and search you can trust. Several smaller Hearth issues are gone: false success messages for water and meal edits, a food-data outage remembered as "not found", search history shared across accounts, 0-kcal results in inventory search, and tab clipping on 375 px-wide screens.
- Alchemy barcode scans and reminders work properly again. Barcode scanning in Alchemy runs at full speed on iPhone again, and reminders that were muted after a device change work again.
- Supplement loadouts open to every membership. You can now save your supplement stack as a loadout in the Apothecary on any membership, then relog it in one tap. Pathfinder accounts were refused before.
Developer's note: A feature inside a Pathfinder location is available to every tier; only a feature with its own Vanguard location stays Vanguard.
- Food search rides out brief connection drops. USDA results keep showing through brief connection drops. The shared safety switch on USDA lookups now trips after 12 failed calls (was 5) and resets after 15 s (was 30 s), so one player's burst of searches no longer blanks USDA results for everyone.
Developer's note: Oct 11 logs showed intermittent fetch failures against a healthy USDA service.
- Unpinned favorites stay unpinned on every device. Favorite meals you unpin stay unpinned everywhere you play. Links to a meal or a day now open on the Hearth, an empty Meal Board slot starts with its meal type chosen, locked locations tell you why, and coming-soon screens name the feature. Barcode lookups search the right code format, foods listed only in kilojoules show calories, and you can type decimals with a comma.
- Barcode scans keep their result. A scan is no longer rejected outright when an optional status detail from the food provider is invalid; it keeps the result.
Onboarding & Account29 changes
- Your new look shows up right after a reload. Reloading right after you change your avatar now shows the one you just picked, not the old one.
- New heroes appear in World Pulse from day one. When you finish onboarding, you now show up in World Pulse unless you turned it off: choosing "The community" in First Sync starts you with World Pulse and your country and flag shown, while "My kindred" and "Only me" keep both off. Heroes who chose the Kindred path without inviting anyone can now finish Birth and enter the Nexus, and heroes asked to accept updated terms during Birth see that step instead of getting stuck.
Developer's note: From Oct 5 to 15, about 28 new heroes finished onboarding without appearing in World Pulse, and two stalled before the Nexus.
- Build and play your first Quest in First Sync. During First Sync you can design a Quest in Training Grounds, choosing exercises and the number of encounters, sets and reps, then play through it. The rewards screen shows the Discipline XP, role XP and Warrior level your Quest earned, and if the Dawn emblem scene's artwork is slow to load, you see a loading message with a retry.
- Onboarding lets you go back and change your answers. You can change an answer before moving on, step back from the goal step to your starting measures without losing either, and search exercises and monsters when setting a goal. The review step asks you to choose how well it fits before continuing, with a separate button for editing your goal.
- Your hero keeps the build you chose at Birth. The specialization and role you confirm now stay put, even after a reload. Your profile shows its saved values instead of older stored copies.
- Choosing your Form now works on smaller screens. The Male Form / Female Form step now scrolls, so you can reach the Female Form option and Confirm & Continue.
- Returning players can finish onboarding again. If you came back with no saved vitals or Avatar, onboarding used to hit a dead end. Now you're recovered and can continue.
- Change Avatar opens the Avatar chooser again. Tapping Change Avatar now opens the chooser instead of sending you home, and your current Avatar stays selected until you pick another; Back keeps it. Creating an additional Avatar requires age 18+, matching the account rules.
- Setting your first goal is quicker and clearer. The goal description is now optional for measured goals, and Strength goals ask you to choose an exercise and enter a starting point and a target (zero is a valid start). Fields show example placeholders and a ready message, Vitals can continue with the values shown on screen, and the fragment reward reveal no longer makes you wait before you can continue.
- Your First Sync rewards get their celebration. Reward celebrations now show while you're still in onboarding; before, they didn't appear. Ordinary celebrations wait until onboarding is complete.
- Your First Sync Quest no longer gets stuck. The finish option explains that every encounter must be completed first and keeps your logged work, and a rejected completion can be tried again. Monster HP now matches what the server expects for this first Quest.
- First Sync Quest controls are no longer covered. The Quest's full-screen controls now stay clear of the onboarding progress header instead of sitting under it.
- Birth keeps going through brief hiccups. When the Birth handoff gets a briefly out-of-date response, it now checks again (up to three times) instead of stopping.
- Finishing First Sync and setup goes through reliably. When two saves collide at the same moment, you no longer stop on a server error. Warrior XP delivery retries up to three times, and finishing First Sync or completing setup returns a retryable message and finishes.
- Deleting your account now removes all your data. When you delete your account, you can now share why you're leaving. Your answer is optional and isn't linked to you, and deletion now removes every part of your data.
- Infitnite is now for players 18 and older. Infitnite asks for your birth month and year before the Terms, and the Terms of Service (2.7) and Privacy Policy (2.8) are updated to match. If an account's recorded age is under 18, it can still download its data or delete itself, but can't continue playing. A Birth after a Terms update now falls back to your current legal record instead of stranding you.
Developer's note: We chose a single 18+ floor everywhere instead of a separate experience for younger players.
- First Sync tells you exactly what "The community" shares. Choosing "The community" now says plainly what happens: a welcome post with your warrior name and country appears in World Pulse. You can turn off World Pulse or your country anytime in Settings ‚Üí Privacy.
- Your first Quest waits for your hero to load. The first onboarding Quest now starts only once your new hero has fully loaded. If that hero or account is no longer active, you see an error instead of continuing.
- Your First Sync rewards stay up until you're ready. The reward result no longer closes early: it stays on screen until you choose Continue, even after the server finishes recording the ceremony.
- Continue stays within reach in onboarding. With larger text sizes or longer feedback, the screen after each answer and the results screen after each first sync now scroll, so you can always reach Continue.
- Dialog buttons clear your phone's navigation bar. The subscription confirmation and onboarding review dialogs no longer tuck their buttons under your phone's navigation bar.
- Your profile shows your latest changes at launch. Right after the app starts, your profile now picks up your latest saved changes instead of briefly showing an older saved copy.
- World Pulse respects your setup privacy answers. If you answer "Only me" or "One or a few trusted allies" during setup, you're no longer welcomed in World Pulse when you skip the full Influence attunement; your privacy settings now match your answer. "It depends", "I am not sure yet" and "None of these fit" start with World Pulse and country display off, and "The community" still starts with the World Pulse welcome on.
- App updates can reach you during onboarding. The update prompt now appears during onboarding as well as in the main app. Choosing Later keeps it quiet for that update, and your onboarding answers aren't sent while an update is being applied.
- Your Quest saves no longer wait behind diagnostics. Background diagnostics used to slow the requests that save your Quests. They now send one at a time, and are dropped if the signed-in account changed.
- Keyboard search in onboarding stays on target. In the onboarding exercise search, keyboard selection now stays on a visible result, and Retry shows loading again.
- Screen readers announce your Warrior level-up. The Warrior level-up celebration is now announced together with your new level.
- Birth recovery stays with the right account. If you sign out or switch accounts while your hero's birth scene is finishing, that step no longer completes or shows errors against the other account.
- ReducedA loophole for a fourth active Avatar is closed. Flipping an Avatar's status around creation could produce a fourth active Avatar. That's now refused.
Membership & Market21 changes
- The eight Vanguard locations get a fresh look. Each location has refreshed layouts, icons and artwork, plus larger text. Persona chat buttons now live in the header, so they no longer sit under Mastery.
- See what each Vanguard location does before you go. Each of the eight Vanguard locations has a short silent video showing what you can do there, with written steps if the video can't play. You'll find them during onboarding, in the Market, on locked locations and in Your Membership.
- Price comparisons are back on the plan screen. The onboarding plan screen shows price comparisons again: Vanguard lists its billing cadence, a monthly equivalent, an estimated daily cost and its savings compared with monthly billing. On the web these are marked as USD reference prices.
- Onboarding checkout keeps up with the store. Before, checkout could break when the store changed. Now the plan screen loads the store's current prices with a retry button if the catalog fails, asks you to review and confirm again if the store's terms change, and labels which features each plan includes. On phones, the onboarding progress header no longer crowds the top controls.
- Your Membership puts your plan's value in one place. You'll see what your membership includes, with one-tap shortcuts to all eight locations and your own monthly Invocations. Monthly and quarterly members can switch billing period there, with the savings shown against monthly billing.
- Membership screens explain Invocations up front. The onboarding membership screens now explain that Invocations are monthly usage credits shared by your Magical Intelligence assistants, and that browsing the pre-built workout library doesn't use credits. They also describe what each of the eight additional Vanguard locations offers.
- See how much the yearly plan saves you. The Market's yearly plan now shows a "Save N% vs monthly" label, worked out from the same store prices you see at checkout. There was no savings label before.
- Payment problems take you straight to your store's billing. If a payment fails, the banner now opens your App Store or Google Play billing page instead of the Market, and the message tells you to update payment there rather than in Settings. A lapsed membership still opens the Market.
- Resubscribe is right there after you cancel. After you cancel, the account screen now offers Resubscribe instead of a second Cancel. Once you subscribe again, the plan details no longer show an old failed plan change.
- Your membership stays in step with your store. A plan switch that lapses now ends on time, and a delayed store notice can no longer undo a resubscribe or overwrite a newer tier. An older upper-case or unknown tier name no longer freezes your billing display, and starting a purchase twice while adding a hero no longer opens a second store sheet.
- Renewal terms sit right under every purchase button. The auto-renewal terms now appear directly under each purchase button on the Market and in the onboarding plan picker. Before, they were in a footer far from the button.
- One notice if your membership ends while you're away. The next time you open the app, you see one notice, in English or Spanish, confirming your progress is safe. Before, the notice was English only and appeared only if the downgrade happened during a session.
- Your Membership shows your real plan. Older paid plans no longer show up as Pathfinder. You see the right plan, and details that aren't known are hidden instead of printing "Unavailable".
- Your Membership names your store plainly. It now shows "App Store" or "Google Play" instead of a raw store code. The buttons on the Magical Intelligence upgrade window stack on phones, the Mailbox header wraps on narrow screens, and badge spacing is tidied.
- The header shows Pathfinder instead of Unknown. When your profile has no stored tier, the header now shows Pathfinder as your membership instead of an Unknown label.
- Vanguard's description is accurate about Forged Quests. It no longer calls Forged Quests infinite. Forged Quests draw on your monthly Invocations, as they always have.
- Your membership benefits are right from launch. Membership capabilities and ally limits now match your validated membership tier at startup. Before, they didn't always.
- ReducedSeveral older upgrade prompts are removed. The tier recommendation card, the access pop-up, the idle chest pitch and the feature relock notice are gone. Locked features no longer tailor their upgrade message to your training, and offers never use your health or fitness data. You keep the Market, plan details and the labeled Magical Intelligence examples.
- ReducedInvocation Shards are now Vanguard-only. Pathfinders no longer earn Shards from combat, personal records or the weekly login reward, and the Apothecary turns Shards into Invocations only for Vanguard members. Invocations earned from Shards count only on plans that include monthly Invocations, and Shards a Pathfinder already holds stay in their inventory, marked Vanguard-only, and are never removed.
Developer's note: Pathfinders should not earn items they cannot use.
- ReducedOnly recognized store products can grant a tier. A mis-named operator or promo product could grant a tier by matching part of a tier name. Now only recognized store product ids (and exact tier-named entitlement keys) grant a tier.
- ReducedCancel-screen billing switches are now iOS only. Outside iOS, the cancel screen no longer offers to switch between monthly and yearly billing, because Google Play doesn't allow that change from the app. On iOS the option stays and the screen now appears once per cancellation; you keep Cancel and Resubscribe on every platform.
Courier & Inbox9 changes
- Announcements reach your inbox again. New announcements now arrive in your inbox. Before, a database index change in August stopped announcements from arriving for every player; both affected indexes were restored live on Oct 11.
- See what you collected from the mailbox. When you collect several mailbox rewards, the mailbox shows how many were collected and how many couldn't be. Update mail keeps its read and deleted state across repeated syncs.
- Deleted announcement letters stay deleted. An announcement letter you deleted is no longer delivered to you again. A withdrawn notice is marked Withdrawn and no longer offers its reward, and you get clear feedback when a notice is no longer available.
- Letter buttons say where they take you. Buttons that open the Market now say "Go to the Market" (was "Go to Pricing"), and the welcome letter's button says "Go to the Nexus" (was a generic location label).
- Billing letters now come from The Courier. Automatic billing and membership letters are now signed by The Courier instead of the Wizard.
Developer's note: The Wizard is a human mentor and never signs automated offer or billing letters.
- Your letters speak Spanish when you do. When you play in Spanish, automated letters show the sender as El Mensajero, and plan names inside letters appear in your language (Explorador, Vanguardia).
- Milestone letters arrive once and stay tidy. Courier notices for prowess tier-ups and milestones are created once and keep their read, archive and claim state if they're sent again. Scheduled messages now go out in rotating batches of up to 500 per run, so accounts that can't receive mail no longer hold up other Warriors.
- Turn off Vanguard tips in Settings. Settings now has a Vanguard tips switch (Settings > General). Turn it off and you won't receive Vanguard letters in your Inbox.
- The Courier can send two optional Vanguard letters. One goes to Pathfinders who come back on a later day after finishing onboarding, and one to monthly Vanguard members on the App Store about the yearly plan. Each arrives at most once, with no push notification and a Not interested button, and the letters wait at least 7 days after another unprompted offer and 14 days after you tap Not interested. Both letters are switched on.
Developer's note: Eligibility uses only billing state, account tenure, how recently you opened the app, your tips setting and a measurement holdout group. It never uses your workouts, meals, sleep or other health or fitness data.
App Speed & Stability11 changes
- Get from the title screen to the Nexus faster. The Nexus now loads while the 1.32 s entry animation plays, and a slow content check no longer holds up your tap (it could wait up to 8 s). In a throttled-CPU test, a returning player's median time to the hub is now 6,425 ms (was 7,299 ms).
- Key screens open much faster the first time. In a 4x CPU-throttled test, first open is now 0.61 s for History (was 7.8 s), 0.53 s for Inventory (was 5.0 s), 0.36 s for the Mission Board (was 5.0 s) and 2.1 s for Hero (was 4.9 s). Scrolling renders 17 rows per 200 scroll events (was 3,343), Spanish players load 3 language bundles at startup (was 12), and nav icons are 33 KB (was 603 KB).
- The Infitnite logo is back on the title screen. Returning players see the Infitnite logo again instead of plain text.
- Long lists and chat stay smooth. The Hall of Honors, the Living Chronicle and Town Square chat stay smooth with long lists. Opening the Hall of Honors now mounts 7 cards (was 528) and each search keystroke renders 7 cards (was 685); a Living Chronicle keystroke renders 0 cards (was 30), and five chat keystrokes re-render 0 message rows (was 250).
- The app stops growing after every update. The app now clears files older versions left behind, so it no longer takes up more space on your device after each update. Once startup settles (20 s), it keeps the running build, the builds of the active and waiting workers and the previous build, and removes other per-build saved copies; saved audio is untouched. In iOS Simulator Safari, 42 seeded saved copies dropped to 10.
- Actions waiting to sync stay safe. Actions waiting to sync on your device now survive interrupted saves and the app being open in more than one tab, and they stay with the account that started them. Startup, reward and reconnect steps recover more reliably, and inventory shields now protect the skill you select.
- Artwork recovers when it fails to load. Artwork that fails to load in fights and image views now retries and recovers. Leaving or reloading a page cancels its artwork downloads cleanly, so they can restart when you come back.
- Your hero's Nexus stage appears sooner. On a return start, your hero's stage in the Nexus appears sooner when its art is already on your device (test median 434 ms, was 585 ms).
- Try again gets you past a failed startup. When startup fails, loading now stays visible instead of failing silently. Try again gets past a stale saved copy of the app: it forces a fresh reload, unregisters a background worker that controls the failed page on the first tap, and reloads after 3 seconds even if a stuck worker never unregisters. Saved copies and offline packs are kept.
- Recovery and membership checks stay on your account. Combat recovery and membership confirmation now stay with the account that started the action instead of continuing under the wrong one. A queued purchase rechecks which account it belongs to right before it's sent to the store, membership confirmation needs fresh billing data, and a workout that was already accepted is never marked for retry by a later error.
- The title screen downloads a fifth less image data. When the app starts, the title screen now downloads about a fifth less image data: non-depth title images are 666,528 B (was 841,691 B), down 20.8%.
Hubs, Menus & Navigation6 changes
- The mic tells you when Speech Recognition is off. If iPhone Speech Recognition is turned off for Infitnite, tapping the mic says so and offers a shortcut to Settings.
- Notification badges count only what you can open. The notification badge now matches what you can read. Supplement loadouts past your 20th now show in the list (up to 50 can be saved), and monster HP on screen matches the server.
- Paste Day retries don't create duplicates. Retrying Paste Day in the Calendar after a lost connection now keeps the same entries instead of creating duplicates.
- Every voice button explains what's blocking it. Every voice button (cardio, combat reps and weight, Alchemy Scribe and posts) tells you which phone setting is blocking it and offers a shortcut to Settings.
- Reordering share-card stats works smoothly. One finger owns a drag and a second finger is ignored. A cancelled touch, a release outside the list or the window losing focus ends the drag cleanly, so the next one isn't blocked.
- Environment artwork shows up again. Environment artwork that failed to appear because of a blocked download now displays.
Magical Intelligence5 changes
- Preview Magical Intelligence features before you unlock them. When you open a Magical Intelligence feature your plan doesn't include, you now see a labeled "Example" of what it produces (Alchemist's Lens, Witch's Brew, Plan Generator, Enchanter's Compass, Crucible Generate). Examples are static and generic and are never built from your own data.
- An interrupted Brew won't cost a second Invocation. If the app closes or reloads while a Brew is finishing, trying again returns the same recipe instead of spending another Invocation. Smart Paste also waits until its price is ready before you can tap it.
- See the exact date your Invocations renew. When you've used all of your monthly Invocations, the notice now shows the date they renew; before, it only said they renew at the start of your next billing month. Vanguard members get a Got it button instead of an upgrade button, because no higher plan is offered.
- Pathfinders learn where Invocations come from. When a Pathfinder has no Invocations left, the notice now explains that Invocations come with Vanguard, which includes 50 each month, and links to the plans. It no longer shows a renewal date, because nothing renews on Pathfinder.
- Persona chats tell you up front what they are. The first time you open a persona chat, a short notice (shown once per device) explains that personas and their replies are AI-generated and aren't medical advice. Replies keep their visible "AI-generated" marker.
Language6 changes
- The Market is fully in Spanish. Everything is translated, including plan names (Explorador and Vanguardia), plan descriptions, location details and the Magical Intelligence (Inteligencia M√°gica) label. Prices on the yearly plan now use one consistent format.
- Every location tour now speaks Spanish. All 221 stops across 34 location tours, plus the hub and legacy Nexus tours and the Vanguard tour, are in Spanish, using the same names you see elsewhere in the game. The Living Quest focus stop and the Market back-button label, which were still English in Spanish, are fixed too.
Developer's note: Walt asked for the remaining location tours to be translated.
- The app follows your phone's English or Spanish setting, with fuller Spanish. Ten untranslated strings are now in Spanish, membership tier names are consistent across the Spanish app (50 strings had drifted), and the Mailbox View Leaderboard button is translated. If you switch your phone to English or Spanish, the app follows it the next time you open it, and a new untranslated string falls back to English for that string instead of hiding Spanish from the picker.
- The Market tour speaks Spanish. The Market's guided tour is now in Spanish, and Spanish Invocation Shard text uses Vanguardia throughout. Links to the App Store, Google Play and support open the right place more reliably.
- Spanish plan names match in offers and billing. In Spanish, offer and billing messages now use the plan names Explorador and Vanguardia consistently.
- Mailbox errors appear in Spanish. When your mailbox can't load, the message now appears in Spanish for Spanish players.
