Our 5th Anniversary
Five years to the day after Infitnite first launched, the world I carried in my head is finally open.
Today, Infitnite turns five.
And after 280 consecutive days rebuilding nearly every corner of the experience, Infitnite 5.0 is now available on iPhone, iPad, Android phones, and Android tablets.
Infitnite is a Fitness Fantasy role playing game where your real life powers the game.
Your workouts become Combat Quests. Nutrition becomes Alchemy. Your mindset and habits develop Intellect. Your relationships, reflection, and community activity strengthen Influence.
What you do in real life earns progress inside the game, develops your Warrior Avatar, and moves you deeper into a world built around the person you’re working to become.
Infitnite 5.0 at a glance
• Explore four connected disciplines covering physical training, nutrition, mindset, habits, and community.
• Enter five major hubs and dozens of locations filled with Quests, tools, features, progression systems, and new ways to develop your Warrior.
• Create a Warrior Avatar built around you, including your training style, goals, experience, strengths, and the way you want to play.
• Build your own Combat Quests using nearly 800 exercise based monsters and more than 1,500 exercise variations.
• Earn XP, complete Missions, develop Skills, unlock Achievements, and raise your Rank through what you accomplish in real life.
• Bring your journey across supported devices using the same Warrior Account and progression from your phone or tablet.
• Experience the world through music and sound effects designed to give its locations, actions, and accomplishments more atmosphere and energy.
The foundation of Infitnite is free through Pathfinder.
There are no ads. No microtransactions. No battle passes. No energy system stopping you from playing. No way to purchase levels, power, or the progress you’re supposed to earn through your own actions.
Vanguard is available as an optional subscription for Warriors who want more structure, advanced tools, expanded locations, deeper guidance, and Magical Intelligence.
It expands the experience.
It never replaces the work.
Your power still comes from you.
That’s the launch.
But the reason it matters goes far beyond releasing another fitness app…
Five years to build a different kind of fitness experience
The spark began in late 2020.
I wanted fitness to feel like the games that had kept me engaged for decades.
Most fitness apps made the work visible. They counted the workout, logged the meal, tracked the number, and showed the chart.
That could be useful.
But it rarely made the effort feel meaningful.
Too often, fitness felt like accounting.
I wanted your effort to mean something inside a world.
I wanted a workout to feel like a Quest. I wanted consistency to become XP. I wanted the person showing up in real life and the Warrior growing inside the game to feel connected.
Because most people don’t spend years trying to improve their health just to reach a number on a scale or look different in a mirror.
They want more control over their life.
They want the strength and energy to do what matters to them. They want their health to support their goals instead of holding them back. They want to think more clearly, handle stress better, move with confidence, and trust themselves to follow through.
Physical health affects mental health. Nutrition affects energy and performance. Your habits affect your confidence. The promises you keep to yourself can change the way you approach your work, relationships, creativity, and every challenge waiting outside the gym.
Fitness can change the direction of your life when it becomes something you can understand, engage with, and continue long enough for that change to happen.
That’s what I spent the past five years trying to build.
On August 1, 2021, the first version of Infitnite became real.
It proved the idea could exist.
The versions that followed expanded the world, deepened the systems, and showed me where the vision still broke apart. Some nights everything clicked. Some nights everything glitched. Some ideas survived exactly as I imagined them. Others had to be rebuilt, renamed, simplified, or held back until they were ready.
The gap between what I could see in my head and what you could actually hold in your hands kept getting smaller.
Infitnite 5.0 closes more of that gap than any release before it.
Built with our players, without the old limits
Previous versions of Infitnite relied on different third party tools, platforms, and services to deliver parts of the fitness, coaching, community, and gaming experience.
Those platforms helped bring the original vision to life.
They also created limits.
Features existed in separate places. Systems could only connect so deeply. Even a small improvement could depend on another company’s technology, restrictions, priorities, or development schedule.
Sometimes I knew exactly what needed to improve, but I didn’t have control over the part of the experience that needed to change.
Infitnite 5.0 changes that.
For the first time, we have direct control over nearly every corner of the experience, including the world, progression, training systems, nutrition tools, community, interface, audio, accounts, and the way your real actions connect to your Warrior.
Infitnite isn’t simply being delivered through someone else’s system anymore.
It is its own system.
That gives us the freedom to improve the game with our players at a level of speed, precision, and creative capability we’ve never had before.
Alpha and Beta gave us the first real look at what that could mean.
This launch was originally supposed to have a longer marketing runway. We had videos, articles, and announcements mapped out weeks in advance.
Then feedback started coming in.
So I made a choice.
I put the campaign aside and focused on the product.
Players found bugs, recorded their screens, questioned decisions, pointed out confusing moments, requested features, and showed us where something that worked on paper still needed to feel better in someone’s hands.
We listened.
And we kept building.
A world you can hear
Music and sound effects now bring more atmosphere, feedback, and energy to the experience.
Locations feel more distinct. Actions carry more weight. Accomplishments feel like moments inside a world instead of another notification on a fitness dashboard.
Your Warrior goes wherever you go
Train from your phone at the gym, continue from your tablet at home, and keep the same Warrior and progression through one account.
Your journey belongs to you, not one device.
More freedom in Combat
Build custom Combat Quests using nearly 800 exercise based monsters and more than 1,500 exercise variations.
Train at home or in the gym. Build around the equipment available to you. Replace movements that don’t work for your body. Create something familiar or step outside your usual routine.
Muscle maps help show what each exercise targets and how the demands of your Quest are distributed across the body.
The fantasy makes the experience more engaging.
The training logic underneath it still has to make sense.
Real effort that carries forward
When you complete something, it should work.
Your progress should save. Your rewards should appear. The game should make it clear what happened, why it happened, and how it benefits you moving forward.
Throughout testing, we corrected issues affecting accounts, progression, rewards, navigation, layouts, keyboards, device compatibility, and the way information was presented throughout the game.
We also worked to connect supported Apple Health activity with Infitnite so more of the effort already recorded through your devices can contribute to your journey.
More depth with clearer direction
Infitnite has a lot inside it.
That depth matters, but depth without clarity can become friction.
During Alpha and Beta, we rewrote instructions, adjusted layouts, improved navigation, clarified terminology, and added more explanation around what actions do and why they matter.
The goal was never to flatten Infitnite into something shallow.
It was to help you enter a deep world without feeling lost inside it.
Testing didn’t simply help us fix the launch.
It helped shape the launch.
Across Alpha and Beta, player feedback led to more than 150+ fixes, improvements, additions, and design changes throughout Infitnite 5.0.
That work became the launch campaign.
If you want the full breakdown, read What Alpha and Beta Players Changed Before Launch or watch the video recap below.
To everyone who tested, recorded a screen, wrote a note, answered a question, found a bug, challenged a decision, or came back for another build, thank you.
You didn’t simply preview Infitnite 5.0.
You helped shape what everyone receives today.
Start free and choose how deep you go
Pathfinder is the free foundation of Infitnite.
It isn’t a countdown, a temporary trial, or a hollow preview. You can create your Warrior, enter the world, complete Quests, and build real progression without subscribing.
You should be able to understand what Infitnite is by playing it, not by staring at a paywall.
Pathfinder
• Create and develop your Warrior Avatar
• Explore the core Infitnite world
• Progress through Combat, Alchemy, Intellect, and Influence
• Build custom Combat Quests
• Complete Missions and develop Skills
• Earn XP, Achievements, Ranks, and progression
• Play without ads, microtransactions, battle passes, or purchased power
Learn the world. Complete your first Quests. Find the parts of the experience that make you want to return.
Vanguard
Vanguard is the optional paid experience for Warriors who want more structure, guidance, advanced tools, expanded locations, deeper analytics, and Magical Intelligence.
It includes everything available through Pathfinder, then gives Infitnite a larger role in helping you build and direct the experience.
Vanguard includes:
• More advanced locations across the four disciplines
• Ready made Quest structure and Forged Quests
• Deeper training, nutrition, sleep, and performance analytics
• Additional guidance and progression tools
• 50 Magical Intelligence Invocations each month
With Pathfinder, you can build and direct your own experience.
With Vanguard, Infitnite can help build more of that structure with you.
Vanguard doesn’t buy levels, raw power, or an advantage over another Warrior.
Your progression still comes from what you do.
Enter a Living Quest
Living Quest is a workout adventure that unfolds one decision at a time.
Instead of planning every exercise before you begin, you enter the Quest and choose between different paths as you train. Each choice changes what you encounter next.
Choose something familiar. Try a movement outside your comfort zone. Pivot when equipment isn’t available. Change direction without losing sight of the goal you entered with.
Every run can develop differently.
It takes the choice and replayability of a roguelite experience and builds it around a real workout that can adapt with you while you complete it.
Five years led here
No five year story belongs to one person, even when one person starts it.
Some of you played the earliest versions. Some supported the idea before there was much to see. Some waited through long stretches while the next version took more time than either of us wanted.
Some of you joined Alpha or Beta and told me exactly what wasn’t working.
Some left an earlier version and haven’t returned yet.
Some have followed the journey for years without ever playing.
And some of you are finding Infitnite for the first time today.
I’m grateful for all of it.
The fifth anniversary doesn’t erase the hard parts.
It shows us where they led.
If you followed Infitnite for years, thank you for staying with me.
If you tested Infitnite 5.0, thank you for making it stronger.
If you left an earlier version, this is the moment I’d invite you to look again.
And if this is the first time you’ve heard of Infitnite, you don’t need five years of context to begin.
You only need one real action and a place to start.
Once you’ve spent time with the launch build, I’d be grateful for an honest review.
Reviews help new Warriors decide whether this world might be for them, and honest feedback helps us keep improving it together.
The game doesn’t replace the work.
It gives the work a world to live in.
Five years ago, Infitnite was a picture in my head.
Today, you get to stand in it.
I’ll see you in the Influence hub!
